I can rarely walk past a bunch of Gerberas without thinking of my Granddad Knox. He would painstakingly grow them from seed. I have fond memories of him pottering about in his glass house made from old windows of all shapes, sizes and colours!

Just here and there and slowly it is starting to take shape. I have created a new garden just under the kitchen window for my herbs, boy have I missed my herb garden! And I have planted my half barrel with the White Gardenia I was given as a housewarming gift, surrounded by a pretty pink Lobelia…

Today I finished a small project, a gorgeous little stitchery…

I also made some gluten free shortbread, I am pleased with the way they turned out and they tasted pretty good too. DS2 was very happy with me! But I will have to hide them from the rest of the family.
