Now you see me now you don’t…

SDC11790

Just a quick post to fill you in on my whereabouts…

I haven’t done a runner and deserted my blog, though it may certainly appear so, it’s just that I have been down on the farm. It’s calving time in our little corner of the world, and it’s my job to feed the calves, so far I have 50 babies to feed! That’s not counting all the bobby calves. Added to that is our worker has been out of action for the past week so I have had to take on his duties as well!  I have been working about a 10 hour day, then add household life to that and well you get the picture.  Now don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining I’m actually rather enjoying it, but I just can’t fit everything in, even though the alarm goes off at 5.15am!

And to top it all off the weather has turned horrible, we have had severe weather warnings, wet, windy, cold and just plain icky!  Imagine being born into that, poor little things.

So if I disappear again, I haven’t gone far, and I will be back again in a little bit…

At least those calves have you to take care of them even if the weather is awful. Thinking of you at 5.15!!

Hello Michelle, when you have a farm with animals you are always going to be doing something. Enjoy the baby calves.
Happy days.
