This is what I had planned to work on during the FNSI…
my log cabin quilt…
Stuff happened!!!
And I didn’t get to join in at all, Sew I have nothing to show for myself:O(
On a brighter note I made my very first knitted dish cloth this week…
I had some leftover cotton that was just sitting around and it whipped up in a jiffy! I can see many more being made in the near future in lot’s of lovely colours!
We’re off to town today sew I better go get myself organised, I’ll write again soon…
Keep smiling…
Michelle

Michelle I love your dishcloth, the pattern is lovely!I need to make some more as some of mine are a bit tired looking. You have inspired me to get into making some straight away.
Hi Michelle. :o)
You did a fantastic job on your dish cloth! What a neat idea for gift giving (I am making a mental note...smile).
Your log cabin blocks are coming along nicely. I know what you mean about something coming up. I have days like that too. :o)
I hope you have a nice weekend.
Sincerely, Trish
Oh I want to learn to knit so bad! And I mainly want to learn just so I can knit dishcloths. LOL It's on my bucket list for this year. Hopefully it will come to fruition.
I love your log cabin blocks! Yes, life does get in the way of our best laid plans, doesn't it? I bet you'll get them put together in no time. :)
Have a wonderful weekend, friend!
HUGS from Texas!
Love the colours in your log cabin quilt. I am only a beginner at knitting as well as sewing, but seeing your dishcloth has inspired me to give one a go.

Who knows - it may be a Saturday night Sew In! Great dish cloth.
I love knitted dish clothes. I have some my mom made and they last forever. I love the one you did. Hugs
I just posted about why I didn't get my intended crafts started (and finished!) Here's holding good thoughts for the rest of the week and next weekend?
I love your knitted dishcloth! It turned out so well! I really need to crochet up some new ones for myself (and a bath scrubby too!)
Blessings!
Hi Michelle I do like your dish cloth. Is there any chance I could get the pattern of and what size needles did you use. I would like to make some for a man that I clean for. He loves the cotton dish cloth and he said that he can not get them any more. He said a friend use to make them for him but she has passed away now. I found your blog by going on another blog.
