Today…

My kitchen was taken over by three teenagers today in an attempt to bake the best plate for supper! They have a youth meeting tonight… I am pleased I don’t have to sample all the delectable goodies, one it wouldn’t be very flattering for my figure and two I think I would be sick, Lol. The Jester made Rice bubble biscuits with marshmallow frosting…

And he left DH, Lolly and I one each for our supper, I had mine for dessert and they were very good;O) Ruffles made a chocolate brownie…

and the surfer boy made a chocolate cake with buttercream icing and grated white chocolate on top…

This afternoon I shopped my stash for some fabrics to make a quick strippy runner for my hutch and I got a little carried away cutting the strips and ended up with enough to make a bigger one for our kitchen table Lol

Ah… there is something sweet and refreshing about pinks and greens! I will be working on the runners tonight while I wait to go pick up the teenagers and see who won, Lol

It was the last day of school today for two whole weeks… I am looking forward to a slower change of pace:o) Though I do have a list of things I want to or rather need to do… cleaning the oven is high on that list but first I must focus on the runners… a girl has gotta have priorities right? ;O)

Keep smiling…

Michelle

PS Thought I would share this photo of Wilson, here he is sitting in the barrel for the car ride home(from Pet Day) as if he did this every day Lol…

The Jester had to drag him out when we got home… Lol
