The cows are around the house this morning and the friendly ones like to come up for a scratch…
and some cuddles…
It was a beautiful day yesterday and I ventured out into the garden… my Mum had given me some plants last week and they really needed to be planted… I ended up creating a new garden for some of them…
The plants are called ‘Blueberry and Lime Jam’ Petunia’s and should make a lovely summer display :o) Thanks Mum!
My completed ‘Tis the Season’ Christmas runner for my hutch…
I tried to take photos outside but it is just too wild and windy today… spring weather can be so fickle… It is the first time I have done prairie points and am quite happy with the way they turned out…
I have mentioned it before but this corner of our lounge has always bugged me… it is a wood box that juts out into the room and takes up precious room… I have been wanting to make a feature out of for some time and utilise the space but have been unsure on what to do with it! But I now have a plan(still in the beginning stages but a plan none the less!)… it involves the above pram(a bargain at less that half price:O) and a couple of ‘Butterscotch and Rose’ charm packs…
The postie kindly delivered them this morning along with some ‘Blueberry Crumb Cake’…
Great for the waistline!!! My fingers are itching to make something with them but first I really should get the rest of those plants in the garden…
Have a grand day…

Your runner is just so lovely....
Hello Michelle,
The photo's of the cows and your son? are beautiful, animals really know how to bond with humans.Christmas runner is beautiful and had to smile at your cake in the last photo.
Happy days.

Happy cows.
I hope you don't get sticky fingers from those yummy looking goodies!
Love your christmas runner, just gorgeous. I know someone who wants to start up a dairy, but do it all robotically. I never liked the sound of it... when I heard the cows live in a shed all the time, never feeling the warmth of the sun on their backs or the breeze in their face. After seeing the photos of your happy contented cows, I'm even more convinced it's a bad thing. Your cows have such sweet gentle faces and obviously love having a scratch and cuddle from your son. The photo shows your cows love the interaction... those poor robotically looked after cows wouldn't be out in nature and I seriously doubt they would ever get a scratch under the chin or a cuddle :(
Lovely runner and ohhhh lovey the fabric range might have to see if our local shop has it ( oh dear a trip to the quilt shop) .
The cows look happy and enjoy the hugs I think .
Take care
Hugs Bec
