Working on another UFO…

I pulled out another UFO over the weekend to work on… this time it’s a stitchery project from an old Country Threads Magazine…

DSC_1640 (4608 x 3072)

The photo’s a little dark (that’s what happens when you take photo’s at night time…) I only have a few colonial knots left to do and then I can start to sew it all together :O) I already had my fabrics all picked out but have had a change of heart and have decided to use my new Blueberry Crumb Cake fabrics… Hopefully I will finish this one up this week and it wont be relegated back to the UFO pile this time!

Yesterday was our 18th Wedding Anniversary… I have now been married for half my life! I’ll save you the math… I was 18 when I got married Lol I guess that tells you my age as well! It makes me wonder what you all think… being married so young…

We celebrated by going out to a local Indian Restaurant for tea… and the children had to stay home and cook for themselves!

Hi Michelle, happy anniversary...
We were not much older than you were at nineteen years old, and we are about to celebrate thirty two years!
Your little stitchery is lovely..

Happy Anniversary you young thing! I think I recognise your stitchery from the Country Threads mag - it's a real cutie - just right for a country home.

Does it really matter what others think? As long as you and hubby are content then that is what counts.
Cute new project, it it part of a quilt, cushion or other?
