A WIP…

Today I worked on this WIP I started last week…

DSC_1641 (4608 x 3072)

It’s called Hot Cross… from Carrie Nelson’s ‘Schnibbles times two’ book…

DSC_1650 (600 x 400)

It just needs the outer pieced border… but I have to wait for the rest of the charm squares to arrive in the post ;o) While I was taking this photo I thought I would show you some of my Petunia’s in the tyres…

They really seem to like it in there… :O) Today has been such a lovely day… the sun is shining and there is a gentle breeze blowing… just wonderful! DH and the kids went down to the beach leaving me to sew in peace… while DH caught us fresh fish for tea… and it’s Friday… wonderful… and tomorrow I am going to the annual Arts in the Park… there will be lot’s of craft stalls… food… and fun! What’s happening in your little corner of the world today?

Sweet Blessings…

Michelle

Michelle, your schnibbles quilt is lovely and I adore your petunias. What a novel idea to have them in tyres.

Cute quilt. Your plants did make it with no drain holes ,aren't they beautiful. We had four season's in on day here in Northland...sounds like Taranaki weather aye!
I was working on a customers quilt today, it is a biggy and labour intensive. It's called 'Matilda's station'...lots of applique.

Love your quilt, those fabrics are really pretty as are those petunia's!! I think your part of the country was way better than the Coromandel today! Wet and coolish. Good sewing weather though :-)
