Last night I managed to chain piece all those little dresden pieces and now they look like this…
Now all I need to do is turn them and give them a press… I think it’s going to take a while ;O) And I finished the machine quilting on this quilt… but I want to do a little bit of hand quilting on it before I call it finished…
Better get back to those Dresdens…

A great achievement for FNSI, well done Michelle and I'm looking forward to seeing those plates pieced too.
Your work is beautiful! I'm a newbee, and enjoyed reading your lovely blog...learning alot from quilting veterans like you.
Looks like you got alot done. A great FNSI!
Your blocks are lovely! I look forward to seeing your dresden results, too.
I love your quilt and really really love the material you have chosen for your dresden plates. It looks to me like you had a real production line happening. Well done!
Dresden blades are looking lovely! I recognise some of those fabrics!! Well done.
I tried machine dresdens once and didn't do so good. That's when I took up EPP. Yours look so perfect even at this point!
I'm here from FNSI. Great work, I love your hand Stitchery.
mmmmmm Dresdens!!! I love them :-)
Great FNSI results Michelle, it all looks great. The more I see these Dresden pieces everywhere the more I want to give it a go. Are you using the fancy little template for cutting the wedges, or can they be done without? Maybe I will try a block before launching into a whole quilt worth of them!
Lovely results Michelle. Your quilt is lovely, you have beautiful stitching!
