Friendship… it’s not the big things,

It’s the million little things!

DSC_2284

As you read in my last post we had been hit by a storm, which took our power out for a few days, and during that time I was humbled by my friends coming to my rescue. I just want to send out a big THANK YOU to Nicky for all that she done for us. We are slowly getting the place back into shape, some things are waiting on insurance and may take some time, the rest is just a matter of working through it… The flowers above are from my DH, just because!

I made a new friend this week too…

As some of you may know my DH bought me a swift quilter a few years ago for Christmas, since we have shifted into this house there is no longer anywhere to put it up, so with much reluctance I sold it along with the Juki machine it came with… I loved to sew on the Juki and was really sad to see her go… I also have had a sweet little Janome which I’ve had for about 11 years, but traded her in the other day to buy…

We are still getting to know each other… but she sews beautifully, I am looking forward to many happy years together!

As I write it has started raining again… what better way to spend an afternoon than to sew… I’ll be back sooner rather than later hopefully with a few projects to share…

Keep Smiling…

Michelle

You will love your new machine....Bernina's rock! I have three of them, the one you have is what I do all my customer quilts on.
Enjoy!

I'm pleased to hear that life is slowly returning to normal; what would we do without friends and family at times like this. I have one of those Berninas too and just love it! Hope you have a great time with her! PS those lilies are beautiful! Bet they smell nice?

I have the same machine & absolutely love it! Isn't it wonderful that it sews through anything like butter! I place cherry blossoms decals all over mine because I miss Tokyo too much & now I can see sakura everyday!
