Yesterday was the Kindred Heart Stitchers day at my place, I’m not sure what the boss and his friend thought as they worked away outside on the new wood shed, Lol! As you could imagine there was plenty of laughter! It was also the school holidays and Nancy brought along some freshly baked gingerbread men for the girls to decorate, even my teenage boys and one of their friends had a go! The table is laden with all sorts of crafting goodies…
It was also Nancy’s birthday this month, she’s the one in the red cardy! It was so much fun to spoil her and she got some lovely goodies.
Claire was the only one that bought Show n tell… if you look really closely at the squares in this quilt you might notice they are actually weaved together, she is very clever! She also sewed the binding on this quilt…
Such beautiful colours…
We were supposed to work on our paper mache boxes on the day but Claire, Nicky and myself worked on ours beforehand, here is Claire’s…
And Nicky’s…
Aren’t they both gorgeous! Mine is not quite finished, so I will show when it’s done.
And I will share with you next months challenge tomorrow, I have to take a photo first…
Keep smiling…
Michelle

I really like the boxes. It always looks like you girls have a fun time.
The paper mache boxes look gorgeous, very feminine. The finished quilts are lovely too.
I love the tiny hat boxes...very sweet. How nice that you have a group of women who enjoy getting together to "create".
