Ticking things off the list…

DSC_3176

As mentioned in the last post I had a list of things I wanted to get done during the holidays and I’m pleased to say I am getting there…slowly… Yesterday I babysat my nieces and spent the afternoon in the garden, it was a beautiful day albeit a little chilly :O) This morning I headed back out into the garden(early) to do some more before it started to rain… I still have some more to do but I am happy with what I’ve achieved so far.  Now we are all curled up inside in front of the fire and I think that’s where we will stay!

Tomorrow is supposed to be wet too, so I will start on my boring inside jobs…

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it yet but my wonderful DH and father in law built me a little potting bench in the new wood shed, it’s so nice having somewhere to store all my gardening paraphernalia in one place.

Part of my plan for this afternoon (yes, while still sitting in front of the fire) is to check out the Kings Seeds website and plan my spring planting…

And hopefully do a little stitching… :O)

How is your week going so far? Are you enjoying the school holidays? Do you have anything exciting planned?

The photo’s in this post are ones I took last week at our KHS meet, the church is across the road from my Mum’s house and on the way home I took some of the mountain as the sun was going down…

I’m off to put the jug on and make a cuppa…

Blessings

Gorgeous photos Michelle! Raining cats and dogs here so we're all warm and cosy with the heater on. Just made a cuppa too :-)
