Selvedges…

I know I haven’t been around much lately, sometimes life and family just takes precedence over this little blog…:O) But I hope to fill you in a little on what’s been happening in my little corner of the world…

Friday (was that really four days ago already!) we had our monthly KHS meeting at my house, this months theme challenge was selvedges. The cushion above is Claire’s and isn’t it just gorgeous the pom pom trim just finishes it off perfectly! Michelle made a cute notebook cover…

See, told you it was cute, just look at the little handle! My Mum made a coaster…

I think it looks fabulous! And Nicky’s was a favourite for sure…

I made a pot holder to match the ‘Welcome’ bunting in my kitchen…

I don’t want to use it though, it’s too pretty!  Now if you have been over to visit Michelle's blog you will read how the girls were picking on me being a little OCD! Lol But at least I can get into my sewing space…

He he…*wink *wink…

DSC_2924In other news… I have decided to join Nicky and take part in a local ‘Arts in the Park’ craft fair on the 1st of December. So I am busy creating and sewing, I will try and share a few photo’s of my projects along the way…

Pip is growing sooo fast, here she/he is a couple of weeks ago and now she looks like this…

Here she is having a waddle around the back yard after having a swim in the water trough! We still keep her in a cage, until she can fly as we have quite a few hawks and magpies hanging about at the moment…

I think that’s probably enough for one post…

Until next time…

Michelle

All those selvedge pieces are lovely, I enjoy using the selvedge bookmark you made for me a while ago. You seem to have such a good time with your sewing friends and all produce wonderful things.
