Thank you…

It’s been a while since I’ve last blogged, I want to say a big thank you to those that voted for my daughters school, we didn’t win but she certainly had fun in the process and I can vouch that the Pavlova was delicious! We are now into the first week of the school holidays and Daylight savings started on Sunday too, the weather is so lovely today. I have been doing a wee bit of craft here and there but nothing to show yet, I have great plans to have several finishes this month! And I’m doing some secret stitching…;O)

Today I have done something I have been wanting to do for a very long time…Making my own cheese!

I have started off with making Ricotta, I let you know how it turns out. I would like to try feta next or maybe mozzarella.

I’m of to do a little bit of stitching, see ya soon…

Blessings

Hope your ricotta turns out well. I started with Fetta when i started making cheese & it was i admit a disaster the first time but succeeding batches were great as was the ricotta i made. I've now bought a small wine fridge to use as a cheese cave for Camembert ect. I also recently bought Mad Millie'e new cheesemaker to see if that works for cheese & yoghurt better than using the stove. Hugs,

I'm pleased your daughter had fun in the chef competition - and the pav went down well! Hope you enjoy your cheese making too - it's something I haven't tried either but I understand is not as scary as it sounds!

Be interested to see how it works out! Have been looking at the kits in RD1 for some time, but not brave enough! Good luck, Michelle.
