Garden Festival Part 2

Last week Nicky and I visited another three gardens, one of my favourites is Jenny Oakley’s garden, it is always a pleasure to spend time in her garden so we took along a little picnic to share under the cherry trees…

Her tennis court is edged with an abundance of climbing roses, in fact roses can be found intertwined with the cherry trees too, so beautiful… Jenny also sells plants she has grown herself, and yes I may have bought a few…:O)

We also visited another garden on Ronald Rd(can’t remember the name of this one sorry) this garden is very different to Jenny’s, it has a lot of rooms and paths to follow and a gorgeous view of the mountain…

The calves were enjoying the lovely warm sunshine too…

The Rhododendrons were stunning…

Here’s a couple more photo’s that I liked…

Some birdhouse art and a hanging letterbox… well that’s the garden festival over for another year! Now I need to get out in my little patch, the vege garden is more like a forest at the moment with everything going to seed, though I am happy to report we have been eating lot’s of fresh veges out it.

Blessings

Michelle

Once again, beautiful photos Michelle. Love that vista of the mountain and the calves oh so happy. And those little birdhouses too! Were they habitable or just for show? Beautiful plants and flowers too!!
