To occupy oneself in an aimless or ineffective manner.
To waste (time) in idling: puttered away the hours in the garden.
I can’t say I’ve done a lot this week, but the week sure disappeared fast! I’ve been puttering today, tweaking a few vignettes, vacuuming around and under things, having a bit of a spruce up… What about you? How are you spending your Saturday…

Hello Michelle,
I wonder if Golfers would think the same.
Enjoy those herbs.
Happy days.

Hello Michelle, yes I definately know what you mean about puttering. I think we all have times like that. I adore your kitchen hook and your herb bunches hanging up :-) Happy weekend, Julie

What a great word, puttering, like it! Al took me out to lunch today and now I'm puttering in front of the fire about to do a bit of quilting. It's very chilly here but the sun is shining. Enjoy the rest of your weekend putter
