I am finally showing some photo’s of our new home, there are a few of them so I will do this over several posts…
The front entrance, complete with new bookcase on left (still have to organise all our books)
Much to the disappointment of many I found a spot for my 100 year old ladder, some wanted to claim it for themselves while others couldn’t believe I’d wanna keep such a thing! Unfortunately, we no longer have high ceilings to stand it up and would you believe it, not enough wall space to hang it horizontally! But no body could deter me it just had to fit somewhere…
This is the one spot in my house I have no idea how to display, it is the top of the wood box. At the moment it is covered with a gorgeous curtain offcut until I decide what to do! Maybe I need to start a new collection!
And last but not least, my bedroom slash sewing room…

You have a lovely home and some beautiful things to fill it with. Can understand you not wanting to part with that ladder - it is great!
