Not a UFO…

I have a finish!!! Albeit a small finish, and not a finish I can cross of the UFO List but a finish none the less :o)

100_8084 (451 x 600)

I know you should never judge a book by it’s cover but how could you resist not having a peek inside one like this…

100_8078 (600 x 451)

But I must confess I think I almost like the inside better than the outside…

100_8081 (600 x 451)

100_8082 (600 x 451)

I plan to make many more of these for gifts this year :o)

And speaking of gifts I have decided to extend the Giveaway until the 20th… Why? well I know there is a lot of inspiration and ideas out there and I thought I would give a few of you a bit longer to leave a comment(I know there are more of you out there!!!)

Sew please leave a comment on this post.

I’m guessing you want to know what I’m giving away… Well it will be a mixture of things, a few items made by moi and the winner will get to decide what colours or theme they would like:o) There will be fabric along with a few extra bits and pieces, I may even throw in a block of chocolate! Sew what are you waiting for???

Oh and thanks to those who have already left a comment! I appreciate it sew much:oD

Have a fabulous day!

Michelle

Hi Michelle, if sewing time is limited, jars filled with baking ingredients and handmade labels, with fabric tops and ribbon and even cookie cutters hanging from the side are sweet. Homemade gift bags with homemade soap or bath salts, fabric labels. Box's with homemade pickles, jams, sauces again with fabric tops and ribbons, people love the person touch and they look fab!

Hello Michelle, i have just found your blog and have added you to my blog list. You must be very organised to keep sewing all the beautiful things you make as well as homeschool your children. I homeschooled my youngest for two years and never seemed to get anything done! I will be back soon to have more of a look around your blog. Have a great day!

Your journal is sew pretty - nice job! Did you follow a pattern or tutorial or just wing it yourself? I haven't made one yet, but got a couple of A5 journals with the firm covers recently to give it a go. Love your work!

What a lovely cover Michelle. The verse on the front will inspire you with your UFO's.

Now I'm just loving this! You did a lovely job and the fabric colors are so pretty. Such a talented lady you are!
The verse will be a constant inspiration. Is that a panel (did you tell us and I missed that? LOL), because if it is, I need to be on the hunt for it. :)

Love your journal cover - it is sew perectly sewn! and they are so great as presents aren't they? And a shame about your lack of FNSI. I usually do a lt of hand sewing on Friday nights (in front of some TV) but fell asleep instead! Love your blog backgrounds etc - so soft & pretty
