I really don’t know where the last week has gone… it has been so busy in my little home. It has been a week of highs and lows… a horrible head cold, and exploding lemonade bottle, a dead and dying washing machine just to name a few of the low points but really I want to focus on the highs! We bought a new washing machine and I love it(as much as you can love a washing machine…Lol) It’s a front loader this time and it seems to wash the clothes much better than my old one. Tuesday(yes I know it’s now Friday) we had our Kindred Heart Stitchers day out at Michelle’s. ? and ? the other two girls who shall remain nameless went shopping with out me… and bought lot’s of lovely things that I am sure would look much nicer at my place :OP Anyway being that it’s Valentines day this month our theme was ‘hearts’. My Mum made a cute wooden heart decorated with a quote and a bit of bling, on the left is her finish for last month a silver tray repurposed to hold a photo… isn’t it lovely?
And ? made this gorgeous heart…
Michelle made this cute raggedy doll…
With a heart that says ‘Be mine’
‘?’ made her heart and attached to a silver tray…
Beautiful… :oD
For more pictures you can pop over to Michelle's…
I need to stop here… my teenagers are away at Youth camp and I am on milking duty for the weekend… DH is in town still so that leaves me to get the cows in…
Until next time…
Michelle

What a week glad you had some high points!
Oh, I love that-"I have to go, I have to milk the cows'.
Now you are a 'real' farmgirl!
No 'wannabe' like so many of us.
Love all your hearts!
I am a ?, ?!
Hello Michelle,
Hope you have a fantastic weekend. Love the projects you all worked on for Valentines. A new washing machine is great, have had awful times with them when they don't work.
Hope the milking went well, happy days.
Bev.xoxo
Pleased you ha some highs after the lows.
Nice to have a day with Mum and friends. You all make lovely projects.
Don't 'they' say that the lows help us appreciate the highs even more?! Hope you have a good weekend. The hearts are all lovely - you have a creative group of friends.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend after your up and down week. I love all the projects!
Hmm, must be something in the water, my washing machine died the day before we went away on a short break. I had to pull out soaking wet sheets and wring them by hand and then drape them around to dry, yuck! Anyway, we're home now and they're dry and I ordered a new machine today! Love all those hearts, some great ideas.
What a lucky girl you are to have cows. I would love to have one. Such a darling postage heart. :0)
Don't you hate it when milking the cows get in the way of blogging and quilting. Well, I wouldn't really know...never had that problem.
