Eighteen…

The last week was a very full and busy week for me… tonight I am feeling a little weary(a good kind of weary though :O). So I thought I would share a quick review for those that have asked…:O)

Last night we celebrated my daughters 18th birthday…here’s the birthday girl herself opening her presents, the feed bucket is from her Aunty Julie as a bit of a joke because she is always taking my buckets! Thank you Julie;O)

Thank you to all of you (30+) that came and helped us celebrate such a special day, especially my amazing sister and her partner Doug who worked so hard in the kitchen!

Ruth’s birthday isn’t actually until Thursday but she will be away at Pony Club camp then so we had it a little early… but I would like to wish Ruth a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY here and now, you mean so much to me as a daughter and a friend and I love you lots and lots!!! God Bless You…

Early Friday morning I dropped my three boys(hubby included) and one of their friends way out the back of Stratford, out in the sticks, along a windy gravel road to the Waitara River… there were 8 in the group and after  a prayer of safety for their journey, they were rearing to go…see you at the other end guys…

Meanwhile I drove all the way back to Claire’s for our KHS day. I have to confess I didn’t get my project finished for this month but it is nearly done. If you would like to see photo’s from our day you will have to pop over here to Michelle’s blog to see what we got up to.  I had to leave a little too early and head home to milk and start the birthday preparations… The next day after milking and making the birthday cake(which was a red bull cake by the way) I headed to the Waitara river mouth to await the arrival of my boys…80 to 100kms later…

If you’ve read all the way to the end of this post you’ve done well…

Back soon…
