Another week is almost over! Just one more day of school tomorrow and we have a 2 week break, and boy am I looking forward to it!
I have lot’s to share here on my little blog today so make sure you have a comfy seat and now might also be a goodtime to make yourself a cuppa…
(spot the birdie)
Yesterday I had the privilege of playing host to Claire and Michelle for our monthly quilting day! Jacqui from Magpie Chic (another local blogger I have been following for a while) joined us, it was the first time I have met her and she is even lovelier in person, you really must go over and check out her beautiful blog!
Claire surprised us big time with the amount of finishes she had this month, just look at them all…
Pretty Impressive huh?
And Michelle brought along her gorgeous cushion, it looked really fabulous on my sofa, Lol
I think I will have to make one too, I’ll just add it to my list ;o) Michelle has been working her way through Tis the Season (sorry no photo’s, yet!) I am pleased to say I have started too, not sure that I will be able to keep up with these girls they are speedy!
I forgot to take photo’s of my show and tell, so I will share those in another post;o)
I can share some of the goodies that have been arriving in the mail though, it’s been a good week (Do you like my smiley face, not sure how I did that, Lol) Anyway…
4 Schnibbles patterns from Miss Rosie’s Quilt Co. Not sure which one I want to make first!
I have been eyeing this book up for a while now, The Civil War Sewing Circle by Kathleen Tracy. Not only has it got beautiful quilts to make but it also tells a story, with excerpts from letters written during the civil war.
And a Tilda’s Christmas book! It has some beautiful projects, ideas for cards and boxes lovely dolls, and (are you sitting down Michelle? I know you are going to want to make one of these;o)…
And maybe a couple of these little fellows…
I also have a couple of other books arriving in the next day or so (can’t quite remember what I ordered now, Lol I guess I’ll surprise myself!)
If you are wondering where I’ve been shopping it’s here at The Book Depository they have a huge selection and they have free worldwide delivery! You might just want to go and make yourself another cuppa before you pop over to have a look!
Have fun…
Michelle

Nice goodies and books, I got 2 new books in the mail too...Bonnie Hunter's.
I'm off to look at the Book Depository...thanks for that.
What wonderful goodies you've bought. I have been wondering what the Tilda books are like - they do look lovely! A day stitching with friends - sounds perfect.
So lovely to meet you the other day.
Loved your home and that FABULOUS wardrobe full of fabric. And the bunting, and the china, and the quilts and, and, and...
I am looking forward to next month, when I will be organised for stitching.
